The future of health care and research is data driven, as stated in the Amsterdam UMC position paper data driven health care1. With the GEN-BioDORA project we centralize storage of virtual patient materials (liquids and tissues) for Adore research use and reuse with back-ups. The virtual Adore biobank tackles all RNA and DNA genome data produced within Adore and anticipates digital proteomics and imaging digital biobanks. This in house Adore Digital Genomics Biobank-infrastructure for genome data that will be will be built in a FAIR manner to facilitate research in neurology and oncology. The GEN-BioDORA Digital Genomics Biobank will 1) make raw NGS data* FAIR within the hospital firewall environment, and 2) offers high-level pre-processed whole-genome profiles, by standard and fully reproducible bioinformatics pipelines.
