Explore the rapidly emerging field of cancer neuroscience at a focused, highly interactive Brain Conference, chaired by the 2025 Brain Prize laureates. Engage directly with world-leading experts, exchange ideas in depth, and connect with peers across disciplines in a setting built for scientific discussion.
Why Participate
– Distinct scientific focus: brain cancer • extracranial cancer–nervous system interactions • brain–body communication (with neuro–immune–tumour crosstalk featured)
– Direct access to leading experts: ample time for discussion, Q&A, and informal exchanges
– Intimate format (≤150 participants): easier to connect with speakers and peers
– Early-Career Researchers spotlight: strong opportunities to present, be seen, and engage
– Support available: FENS and The Brain Prize stipends to facilitate attendance
The Conference
Recent discoveries of how the nervous system interacts with cancer have revolutionised our understanding of basic mechanisms in neuroscience and oncology alike. The Brain Conference on Cancer Neuroscience will unite a large group of international leaders in the field, and cover three large topics: Brain Cancer Neuroscience, Extracranial Cancer Neuroscience, and Brain-Body Communication in Cancer. A special focus will be laid on emerging topics like the crosstalk between the nervous system, immune system, and cancer, and how these fundamental discoveries will benefit patients. The conference will allow for ample interactions and conceptual discussions, welcoming early, mid and advanced career scientists from the fields of neuroscience, cancer research, neuromedicine, cancer biology, immunology, and everybody interested in this newly established field.
